All US schools, publice and private that recieve any type of federal funding, should properly display the American Flag outside or in every classroom of their main building.

Raising the Flag Disclaimer

This blog is an assignment for CMP 272 Fall 2007. Students are creating valid arguments, practicing moderating, and creating valid responses to comments.

RAISING THE FLAG ARGUMENT

The American Flag is the badge of our country, the defender of freedom, the beacon of hope. We display it to honor our country, our ideas, and achievements.

"Accourding to the flag rules and regulations Title 4 United State Code, Chapter1 Section 1 and 2 Exceutive order 10834, the flag should be displayed during school days in or near every school house."

Anywhere the American flag stands it shows the rights of freedom. American soliders have been lost to war, injured, and have recieved medals to defend our country. Many schools are not displaying the flag. Schools not waving the flag should reaffirm their committment and pride to the US citizen .

Americans are still patriotic and still respect the flag. 80% of the Americans support the flag rules. It is our duty to the children to preseve and restore what we have known to be valuable.

Yes I think the schools should have the flag in every classroom, even private schools should if they are recieving fderal funding. The flag stands for the freedoms we have, one of them is the freedom for everyone to get an education.

All schools should support our flag even if they have students from other countries that attend their schools. People from every school are fighting for our country so they should have the flag up so they show support for our troops.
